Never be lonely again!

Updates
One big, and one minor update, that we pushed into the Chrome Webstore last night – you should be seeing these updated feature today.

• Trending Rooms: One of the most requested features. Here it is! When you open Husky Chat, a window will pop-up to show you what articles are currently “trending” amongst Husky users. Go ahead and click on some of these links, and join the conversation! You can always open the trending room again by clicking on the fire icon at the bottom of Husky, next to the sharing and feedback icons. Now you can always find people to talk to!
• Scrollbars: We’ve also enabled scrollbar in the latest update – now when you resize your window, no longer will you run into the problem where the text goes beyond the window. Resize freedom for everyone!
• Stickers!: We’ve sent out a bunch of stickers in the last week – if you would like to receive these stickers, reply to this email with your address, and we’ll hook you up with some awesome stickers!

Again, you should be receiving these changes – along with other minor cosmetic fixes – in the last couple of hours. Let us know if you are not seeing the update.

What’s next?

With this new trending feature, expect us to start running some live chats around popular live streams and blogs, so stay tuned!

Husky Pack: We are hard at work to implement the “Husky Pack” feature, which will make it easier for you to share interesting conversations with your friends, and to see where your friends are.. but this one is going to take some time, so be patient with us!

What an amazing week!

Thanks to all of you who have downloaded and tried out Husky Chat.  As you know, our objective was to let more users test out the application to identify issues and gain feedback on features, so thank you all for your feedback. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Updates
Wanted to update you on two big fixes we have implemented over the last week, in response to your feedback:

• Reconnection issues: Users were being disconnected from sites, and then afterwards run into the issues of not being able to log back in.  This should now be fixed.
• Conversation stream display issues: On some sites such as Amazon.com, messages will go beyond the height of the chat stream – as a result, people are not able to see each other’s messages. This is fixed with the latest update.

These changes – along with other minor cosmetic fixes – should have been pushed out to you in the last couple of days.  Let us know if you are still running into these issues!

What’s next?
Two things we have been working on and can not wait to share with you are:

• Trending pages: The idea is to have a page that shows the busiest pages on Husky Chat.  Never feel lonely again – find out where everyone else is hanging out!
• Husky Pack: We are hard at work to implement the “Husky Pack” feature, which will make it easier for you to share interesting conversations with your friends, and to see where your friends are!

These two features are consistent with the other feedback we have received over the last week, so sit tight!

Husky Chat at launch will be a Chrome application. So go ahead and install Google Chrome (www.chrome.com). If you already have Chrome installed, make sure it is updated! (here’s how http://support.google.com/chrome/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=95414).

In case you forgot, Husky Chat is a browser-based chatting application. By installing it onto your browser, you can go to different websites and chat with whomever else is there at the same time (who also has the application installed!)
